Steering damper mounting kit for fitting to the chassis and tie rod. It allows the steering damper to be relocated from its original position — where it is exposed to mechanical damage — to a safer location above the tie rod and Panhard rod. Enables the use of high-quality mono-tube steering dampers. In Nissan Patrol models with 2.8-litre engines (pin-to-pin type), a steering damper from the 3.0-litre engine version must be used.
